Fresh ox liver from British pasture-fed cattle, a classically British cut with an intense, mineral flavour that liver and bacon lovers will know, and serious nutrition in every slice.
Liver and bacon is one of those British dishes that divides opinion entirely, you either love the deep, mineral richness of properly cooked liver, or you've only ever had it overcooked and rubbery, which is a different experience entirely. Ox liver is the most robustly flavoured of the common livers, and it demands to be treated simply: soak briefly in milk to mellow the sharpness, slice half a centimetre thick, dust lightly in seasoned flour, and cook in a very hot pan with butter for no more than 2 minutes per side. It should still have a blush of pink inside. Serve with crispy streaky bacon, slow-cooked onion gravy, and proper mash. The combination is entirely greater than the sum of its parts. Ox liver is also an outstanding nutritional choice, exceptionally high in B12, iron, and folate. From pasture-fed British cattle. 250g per pack.

All of our meat is delivered frozen, ready to go straight into your freezer. Once defrosted, it can be stored in the fridge and enjoyed within three days.
