Our Slow Grown, Properly Free Range Chickens are reared for us by Nick and Jacob at Fosse Meadows Farm. Fosse Meadows is set in the rolling green fields of North Kilworth, Leicestershire – the poultry farm started close to The Fosse Way, to which the farm owes its name. Nick and Jacob believe their simple and traditional methods create a quality mature bird, offering strong meaty bones and meat with a rich flavour and texture second to none. The birds have over 30 acres of free ranging pesticide free grassy pastures to explore, where they can graze, scratch out insects in the bottom of the hedge and take a bath. All our slow grown chickens eat sustainably sourced cereals and pulses free from routine antibiotics and any additives. At Pipers & Co we believe that Nick & Jacob’s beautiful chickens are some of the very finest birds in the country. We are thrilled to be able to connect you our customers, with real, wholesome, truly Free Range chicken that you can trust completely.
