Lean, quick-cooking bronze turkey steaks from properly free range British birds, a smarter midweek choice than chicken breast, with considerably more flavour and a similar level of effort.
Turkey breast steaks tend to be overlooked except at Christmas, which is a missed opportunity, they cook quickly, respond well to bold flavour, and are considerably leaner than chicken thighs for those occasions when that matters. Our bronze turkey steaks come from properly free range British birds raised slowly with space to develop muscle tone and flavour. Unlike intensive turkey, which can taste of very little, these steaks have an honest, mild game quality that pairs well with bold seasonings. Pound them lightly to an even thickness, marinate briefly in lemon, garlic, and fresh thyme, then cook in a medium-hot pan for 4–5 minutes per side until just cooked through. Rest briefly and serve with a caper and lemon butter sauce, or slice over a salad of bitter leaves and roasted butternut squash with toasted pumpkin seeds and a light mustard dressing. They also work well schnitzel-style, breaded and pan-fried until golden.

All of our meat is delivered frozen, ready to go straight into your freezer. Once defrosted, it can be stored in the fridge and enjoyed within three days.
