Philip Warren Butchers in Launceston, Cornwall, is one of the most respected independent butchers in Britain, a family business with a reputation built over generations on sourcing exceptional native breed Cornish livestock and handling it with genuine skill. Their original sausages are made from slow-reared native breed pork using a recipe that hasn't changed because it doesn't need to: well-seasoned pork, a high meat content, and a natural skin that blisters and crisps beautifully in a pan. Cook over a medium heat, turning regularly, for 20–25 minutes until deeply golden and cooked through. Serve with proper mash and onion gravy, or put them in a long roll with good mustard for a sausage sandwich that earns its reputation. They also make an exceptional base for a toad in the hole, the fat renders into the batter as it rises around the sausages, which makes it a dish worth planning your Sunday around. Six per pack.

All of our meat is delivered frozen, ready to go straight into your freezer. Once defrosted, it can be stored in the fridge and enjoyed within three days.
