Product details

We believe nothing should go to waste, especially not the bones that have been part of traditional cooking for generations.

Making your own stocks and broths is one of the simplest and most rewarding kitchen skills. With just time, water and good bones you can create something far richer and more nourishing than any cube or powder. Proper bones bring real depth of flavour and a natural source of vitamins and minerals.

Our 100% Grass Fed Beef Bones are rich in gelatinous marrow. Simmered slowly they form the foundation for deeply flavoured broths, gravies, soups and casseroles.

Delivery

We offer Next Day Delivery on orders placed by 1pm Monday to Thursday (excluding Highlands & Islands postcodes). During busy periods such as Christmas and Easter, cut-off times and lead times may change.

Ingredients

100% Grass Fed Beef

Storage

All of our meat is delivered frozen, ready to go straight into your freezer. Once defrosted, it can be stored in the fridge and enjoyed within three days.

Our ambient goods can be safely stored in a cool, dark place.

All dairy products should be kept refrigerated and used before the best before date shown on the packaging.

Cooking Instructions

Beef bones aren't a cut to eat on their own, they're there to build a stock with real depth. Roast them first at high heat until well coloured, then simmer gently for four to six hours, skimming as you go. The bones don't need a safe core temperature themselves, what matters is bringing the finished stock to a full boil before use. Strain and use as needed.

Pork Shoulder

We cooked the rolled pork shoulder last Sunday and it was outstanding. Proper crackling, rich flavour and no watery mess in the tray. You can really taste the difference in how the animals are raised.

Slow Grown Whole Chicken

The chicken was full of flavour and roasted evenly. Nothing pumped or artificial about it. Just proper, honest food and a world away from supermarket birds.
