Finely sliced pasture fed beef cut for the wok, quick-searing strips of British grass-fed beef with the flavour depth that makes a weeknight stir fry worth making properly.
The key to a good beef stir fry is slicing the meat thinly against the grain and cooking it at a heat high enough to sear rather than steam, which is exactly where quality beef makes its difference. Our pasture fed beef stir fry strips are cut from British grass-fed cattle, sliced thinly and evenly for quick, hot cooking, with the natural flavour of pasture-fed beef carrying through even the boldest sauces. Get a wok or wide pan smoking hot, add the beef in a single layer without stirring for 60 seconds, then toss until coloured. Add whatever vegetables and sauce you're using, oyster and ginger, black bean and spring onion, or a simple sesame and soy, and keep everything moving over high heat for another 2 minutes. Serve immediately over jasmine rice. The whole meal takes under 15 minutes if everything is prepped and ready. 250g per pack, enough for two portions.
