Product details

Bold, beefy, and full of character, our pasture fed beef rump steaks are slow-grown on British grass for a depth of flavour that grain-fed cattle simply can't match.

Grass-fed beef rump steak is one of the most rewarding cuts in the butcher's cabinet: honest, full-flavoured, and bred for eating rather than impressing. Ours comes from British cattle raised on open pasture, where a natural diet of grass and clover produces the kind of deep, mineral-rich flavour that makes a simple pan-seared steak genuinely satisfying. The rump is a hardworking muscle, which means more flavour in the grain and a firm yet tender bite when cooked correctly. Don't rush it, bring the meat to room temperature before cooking, get a heavy pan smoking hot, and sear for 2–3 minutes each side for medium-rare. Rest it for at least five minutes before slicing against the grain. It's the cut that rewards confident cooking and a little patience. Whether served with chips and a green salad or carved over a warm lentil dish, this is weeknight cooking at its most satisfying. Available in 300g portions.

Pork Shoulder

We cooked the rolled pork shoulder last Sunday and it was outstanding. Proper crackling, rich flavour and no watery mess in the tray. You can really taste the difference in how the animals are raised.

Slow Grown Whole Chicken

The chicken was full of flavour and roasted evenly. Nothing pumped or artificial about it. Just proper, honest food and a world away from supermarket birds.
