There's more happening in this burger than a regular beef patty lets on. Made from grass fed beef blended with a proportion of ox liver, it's enriched rather than diluted, worked through finely enough that you won't taste liver on its own, just a deeper, more savoury edge to the beef alongside a natural boost of iron.
Shape the patties gently and avoid overworking the mince, then cook them hard over a high heat, whether that's a grill or a heavy pan, searing well on both sides without pressing down, which only forces out the juices you want to keep. Give it a few minutes a side depending on thickness, checking the middle is cooked through with no pink remaining, as you would with any minced patty. Once it's off the heat, this is a burger that can carry a proper topping: a peppercorn sauce and a few crumbles of blue cheese give it something bold enough to match the depth already built into the meat.
We offer Next Day Delivery on orders placed by 1pm Monday to Thursday (excluding Highlands & Islands postcodes). During busy periods such as Christmas and Easter, cut-off times and lead times may change.
All of our meat is delivered frozen, ready to go straight into your freezer. Once defrosted, it can be stored in the fridge and enjoyed within three days.
Our ambient goods can be safely stored in a cool, dark place.
