Four thin-cut pasture fed beef sandwich steaks from British grass-fed cattle, quick enough for a weeknight, flavourful enough to make a steak sandwich worth writing home about.
The steak sandwich is one of those things that rewards proportionately good ingredients: when the beef is properly raised and cut correctly, a five-minute cook can produce a result worth sitting down for. Our sandwich steaks are cut thin from pasture-fed British beef, the grass diet gives the meat a natural depth of flavour that holds up even at this thickness. Cook in a very hot pan with a little butter for 1–2 minutes per side: thin steaks cook quickly and are best served with just a blush of pink at the centre. Rest for 2 minutes while you prepare the bread. Serve in a good sourdough roll with horseradish cream, watercress, and thinly sliced pickled onions for a combination that's genuinely hard to improve on. Or go the classic route: fried onions, French mustard, and mature Cheddar. Four steaks per pack, a proper meal for two, or a very generous lunch for one.
We offer Next Day Delivery on orders placed by 1pm Monday to Thursday (excluding Highlands & Islands postcodes). During busy periods such as Christmas and Easter, cut-off times and lead times may change.
All of our meat is delivered frozen, ready to go straight into your freezer. Once defrosted, it can be stored in the fridge and enjoyed within three days.
Our ambient goods can be safely stored in a cool, dark place.
All dairy products should be kept refrigerated and used before the best before date shown on the packaging.
